Castlewellan Trails
With green, blue and red grade trails (including black options) Castlewellan is a must-visit for mountain bikers of all ages and abilities.
Tollymore Skills Course
Something a bit different – This skills course has approximately 1.5 km of single track trail, with a wide range of features, including rollers, berms, drop-offs, table tops, rock sections, Northshore and log rolls.
Rostrevor Trail Centre
With a mouth-watering 27km red trail and a hair raising 19km black trail Rostrevor is believed by many to be the top spot for mountain biking in Ireland.
With 2 purpose-built downhill trails, Rostrevor is a mountain bikers’ haven!

Kilbroney Forest Park
Panoramic views over Carlingford Lough. Climb up to the Cloughmore Stone for one of the most stunning instagram opportunities in the Mournes.
Silent Valley
Ringed by mountains, ‘The Valley’, located within the Mourne Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, houses beautiful parkland, lakes and a pond.

Situated in Kilbroney Park, making this an ideal stopping point after a day on the trails at Rostrevor. Serving down to earth good old fashioned food which top-notch coffee and a selection of exotic teas.

Although you are high up in the mournes, our houses are still only a short drive away to local amenities such as shops and restaurants. TESCO also will deliver to us, so you can order ahead and have it delivered when you arrive.

Adventure Tours
Mourne Holidays offer exclusive Land Rover adventure tours. Take a guided trip out and around the Mournes. Stop for a picnic, or let us take you to one of the local craft beer distilleries. Don’t worry, we will bring you back to so you can enjoy some of the product! Up to 5 people can fit in, so belt up and get ready to enjoy the Mournes in the best way possible.
We visited Spelga House and thought the accommodation was fantastic. It was big, clean & very comfortable. The location was really unique and it was great being so close to the Dam. I’d highly recommend staying here with friends or family. We also did the Land Rover Adventure tour up Pigeon Mountain and had a ball. Edward was a great tour guide. You won’t be disappointed. Great fun!
No one wanted to leave! We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend anyone to stay here, it’s perfect! Thanks, Kathryn for having us.
Amazing accommodation!
